This complete course has everything you need to help your son or daughter learn about the development of Canada as a nation from 1914 to 2016! These are proven resources (developed over 14 years) that will help your son or daughter understand the human experience of our history. Typically, this course is completed in either grade 9 or 10.
Through the study of history we begin to understand that each generation, society, people group and individual needs Christ as their Saviour. No one has fixed the underlying problems (eg. greed, selfishness, revenge etc.) that continue to plague the world. Canada is no different. Our nation has much to be proud of, but we are also a nation that has experienced the effects of sin. My hope is that through the study of this course, students would not only learn more about our nation, but, more importantly, understand that the study of history, ultimately, reveals the need for a Saviour. For an example of the bigger picture of history and its connection to faith, please take a look at the resource link here (included with the course).
For ease of use, a professionally bound workbook (240 colour pages) with access to a Google Drive folder containing essential digital resources (eg. lectures and answer keys) is included in the purchase. For a complete review of the course by the Canadian Homeschooler, check out the link here!
Exceeds the requirements for CHC 2D (Grade 10 Canadian History).
